Through a practical lens, students will approach web design from an innovative, design-driven perspective. Most web design courses have a strong focus on coding with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This is not that course.
Instead, methods for conceptualizing, designing, and collaborating on larger scale projects will be emphasized. Students will gain a clear understanding of how to design for the internet and the mediums required to be actionable in the design field. Web design will be framed as an important and integral part of a holistic communication design ecosystem.
