1. Check out Figma. It’s free, you just have to sign up. Please be sure to do the education application so you can have all the pro features for free.
2. Once you have Figma up and running, start familiarizing yourself with the interface. Please watch their Intro to figma courses (1—4).
3. You should have received an invitation to Slack via your school email address. Please sign in and drop a “hello” in the general channel so that I know you’re in. Gifs and custom emoji’s are encouraged.
4. Familiarize yourself with the Syllabus. Let us know If you have any questions.

Cargo is an incredible website builder, offering a student program code that allows for a free, professional website for one year.
Notice the new code for the academic year: Use ad9fab05 until Sept 1 and then a7c1f9de after. Open the Settings tab (gear icon) in the Admin panel, open the Cargo Account Settings menu and click on Site Upgrades. Expand the relevant site upgrade, click on Add a Payment Method and select Use a Promo Code.
